Hello, I’m Janice Savage, an abstract artist based in South Florida. I create original acrylic paintings that bring warmth, texture, movement, and sophistication to thoughtfully designed interiors.My work is chosen by homeowners, interior designers, luxury home stagers, and businesses looking for original artwork that feels timeless rather than trendy. Every painting is created by hand, making each piece completely unique and impossible to reproduce.
Growing up along the Long Island Sound and now living in South Florida has shaped the way I experience light, water, weather, and the natural landscape. Rather than painting literal scenes, I translate those memories into expressive layers of color, texture, and movement that allow every viewer to discover something personal.
I never begin with a finished image in mind. Each painting develops organically through multiple layers of acrylic paint. I build layers, remove them, and respond to what unfolds, allowing the artwork to evolve naturally. Hidden beneath every finished painting is a history of experimentation, discovery, and intuition that creates depth and character impossible to replicate.

I paint abstractly because not everything meaningful can be explained. Color, texture, movement, and layered acrylics allow me to express ideas and emotions that words often cannot.Every painting tells its own story, but its meaning is never fixed.
